As much as Virat Kohli plays his cricket hard and tough on the field, he is known for his off-field fun and activities. Tattoos, hair-styles and certain fashion statements are a part of Kohli’s lifestyle. No wonder, former India skipper Sourav Ganguly thinks Virat would make an excellent actor.
As per the reports in Economic Times, Ganguly was recently asked which cricketers would be up for a chance to act.
“Oh, many,” Sourav replied before naming Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Hardik Pandya from the current crop of Indian cricketers.
Virat is widely deemed as one of the fittest cricketers in the world today. He has also led to a revolution in the Indian cricket dressing room, where fitness has become paramount and also the benchmark for young and aspiring cricketers.
Thanks to his incredible performances on the field, Kohli is currently the face of 17 brands, including Gionee phones, Puma sportswear, Audi luxury cars, MRF Tyres, Tissot watches, oral care brand Colgate and Boost health drinks among others.
Furthermore, the Indian captain has invested in a chain of gyms under the brand Chisel, tech startup Sports Convo, apparel line Wrogn, and has his own One8 brand of casualwear, footwear and accessories along with Puma.
