India is known for producing young prodigies and one two and a half year old boy has put his name in the Asia Book of Records for becoming the youngest professional cricketer ever.
Meet Chennai’s own Sanush Suryadev, who shares his birthday (July) with former India captain MS Dhoni. He got the ‘professional cricketer’ tag because of his capability to hold the bat and play shots like a professional cricketer.
“He can play straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball,” Sanush’s father Murugan Raj said.
Sanush has already made it into the India Book of records for being the youngest child cricketer in the country. The record-keepers have their own panels which identify kids with extraordinary talents. Sanush started playing cricket at the age of one.
He also met MS Dhoni, who praised his cricketing talent and Sanush is also called junior MSD for his love for the Indian keeper. “He is the world’s youngest cricket player. He has been playing cricket since he turned one. What’s special about my son is that he plays like a professional cricketer. He plays straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball,” Sanush’s father told Sportskeeda.
