India's limited over specialist opener, Rohit Sharma, who suffered an Injury during New Zealand series is expected to be back sooner than expected. Rohit Sharma injured himself during the 5th ODI at Vizag in October due to which he has been out of action. However, Rohit Sharma is all set to make his comeback prior to the ODI and T20I series against England.

According to the reports, Hit-man, will be included in defending champions Mumbai’s squad to take on Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy 2016-17 semi-final at Rajkot. Rohit underwent surgery last month and was expected to be out of action for further 6 to 8 weeks but his early return will not only boast Mumbai but will surely bolster India’s chances against England.

Semi-Final is scheduled on 1st January while limited over series against England starts 15th January.
