Shami finds support from his Villagers

India's ace seamer, Mohammed Shami, who had a fantastic year 2016, as he was back from Injury, performed well in IPL and later made a comeback in Team India's Test Team after 18 months. Shami was impressive with his line and length and eventually after his recovery he had gained speed. 

With brilliant performance in Kolkata Test against New Zealand, despite that fact that his daughter was struggling for her life in hospital, Shami helped his team to take 2-0 Lead. However, Mohammed Shami''s has to face a few backslash from a few Muslim fanatics as he has posted a family pic with his wife, which according to the fatatics was inappropriate.

Mohammed Shami did gave an epic reply to the 'trolls', but the backslash didn't stop and now after Cricket and Bollywood fraternity's support, Residents of Sahaspur Alinagar, Mohammed Shami's village has come to his defense. 

"Shami is our pride and the controversy is simply aimed at harassing him,”- said a local resident,"

Another resident, Saima Khatoon claimed "We have seen the photos and there was nothing objectionable. People are trying to defame them for no reason,” 

“Being a celebrity, they move in high-profile parties and wearing such dresses is quite common there. We should not interfere in their personal life,” argued Asifa Aslam, a college student.

Shami's Father, who is former village chief, said, "Being a Muslim, we are followers of Islam and believe that the controversy is unnecessary. People should come forward to support my son,” said Ahmad. “He has been representing over 20 crore Muslims of the country by playing for India and everyone should be proud of him,”
