Indian Premier League is just around the corner to complete it's golden ten years and BCCI is planning to make it more memorable. In this process, they have decided to add 14 new cities to the list of Fan Park.
In 2015, BCCI officials had announced that they are introducing Fan Parks, where fans can come and experience the stadium like atmosphere. The entry is free for the fans and provides women and children friendly conditions.
The Giant screens will be located in parks along with the availability of snacks. During its introduction, only 16 cities became a witness of this and now 36 cities will host the fan parks on the weekends throughout this tenth season.
These include 14 new cities, like Bhubaneswar, Bareilly, Kochi, Ludhiana, Tumkur and Nagercoil which will host the Fan Park for the first time, as well as cities like Shimla and Shillong.
In last year, more than 3 lakhs fans visited these fan parks and BCCI is expecting even bigger number for this time. Thus, BCCI left no stone unturned for a glorious 10th season.
The first leg of fan parks will take place at Guwahati, Mathura, Aurangabad and Mysore on April 5.
