After the conclusion of the bitterly-fought Test series against India, Australian pacer Pat Cummins has acknowledged that bowling against the Indian opener KL Rahul and he completely enjoyed it.
During a press conference for his IPL franchise, Delhi Daredevils, Cummins said, ”I enjoyed the challenge against KL Rahul. He is a confident batsman and can take the game on. I am looking forward to the challenge again. It may be recalled here that earlier KL Rahul too had praised Cummins for his aggressive pace bowling. ”
Meanwhile, Pat Cummins will be the leading pacer for Delhi Daredevils and KL Rahul will be miss upcoming season of IPL 2017 with a shoulder injury. Rahul sustained his injury during the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy and if the reports are to be trusted then he will soon be traveling to London to undergo surgery.
After Captain Virat Kohli, KL Rahul is the second Indian batsman from RCB who has got injured. AB de Villiers will be captaining the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in Kohli’s absence.
