Virender Sehwag keeps Twitter entertained with his tweets, just like he used to do with his batting. He got a very good sense of humor that makes him favorite of all. Not too many can match former India opener.
It’s April fool’s Day today and as per our expectations, Viru turned on his mischievous mode and took to Twitter to leave his fans across the world in splits, as he shared a news article from a newspaper called the ‘New York Times’ which said that Sehwag is in line to become the next US President.
Interestingly, the article is written by a Stephen Smith. Considering the recent talks in the Australian media on how India skipper Virat Kohli is compared to Donald Trump.
During the Border-Gavaskar trophy, Australian news firm The Daily Telegraph compared the Indian cricket captain to US President Donald Trump, saying that "Kohli has become the Donald Trump of world sport."
The article further stated that Kohli "has become a law unto himself" and accused the Indian captain of spreading 'fake news'.
The article could well be an indirect dig at Australia skipper Steven Smith.
