Royal Challengers Bangalore camp has witnessed a plethora of injuries and that is not helping their cause. Recently, RCB pacer Sreenath Arvind broke some exciting news for the fans of the Bengaluru franchise.
In the last match, the team had missed the services of AB de Villiers, Tymal Mills and Samuel Badree due to injuries. Badree has registered a hat-trick to his name this season. AB de Villiers has also shown how intimidating he can be with a couple of blitz innings. Mills remains to be the center of attraction for the high hype that is surrounding him in T20 cricket.
As per the reports of Sportskeeda, Arvind made it clear that the injuries to these players are minor ones. Hence, there are certain chances they will play in the next fixture against KKR at the Eden Gardens this Sunday. Arvind said, “I think it’s minor. They will come back for next match.”

Earlier, RCB’s head coach Daniel Vettori had also jested that he is hoping that the star players get back to fitness as soon as possible. The team has announced Harpreet Singh as Sarfaraz Khan’s replacement in the squad.
Meanwhile, Arvind also spoke about the growing role of bowlers in T20s. He said, “The tenth edition of IPL was supposed to be batsmen’s paradise everywhere and we as bowlers are used to that. In Bengaluru, change of pace works well and I think the wicket here is behaving well. It all depends on how we bowl and a bat that day against any team. That’s what matters.”
