Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is all set to host a Twenty20 match between World XI and Sri Lanka XI on September 8 at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The match will be played two days after the solitary T20I match between India and Sri Lanka.
The fans will get to witness a large number of current and retired overseas stars in the match.
"The negotiations are going on with the overseas players and we will be able to confirm the names soon," confirmed by the SLC source to Cricbuzz.
The revenue generated from the game will proceed towards the Sri Lankan citizens who are affected by the recent flood and to the patients suffering from chronic kidney disease that has taken more than 20,000 lives in the last two decades.
