Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh recently shared a video wishing Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi and his Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi best of luck ahead of this year's edition.
We all know the rivalry between India and Pakistan, and in last few years there have been stress between them on border. Things are not going as expected and we know what can unite India and Pakistan at this moment. When there is political war going on from both sides, sports always steps up to diminish the gap.
Harbhajan Singh recently set an example for people from both sides. He wished Shahid Afridi best of luck for the upcoming season on Pakistan Super League. Hope it ends the fan war and brings peace.
Afridi and Harbhajan were seen in heated conversation with each other several times on the field. But they are mature enough to leave these things on ground and live a different life off the field.
You can watch the video of Bhajji supporting Peshawar Zalmi, the team Afridi plays for. Peshawar Zalmi will play their first match of PSL on 9th February.
Shahid Afridi was also in news for praising Indian people in 2016. He said "I get more love in India than Pakistan." It did bother the people in Pakistan. But it wasn't his fault, as he said it in different way and was misunderstood by his Pakistani fans.
