Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladeshi Test skipper believes that his side has a good chance for victory against Sri Lanka in the absence of hosts’ heavyweight players for the long tour.
On Monday, Bangladesh 16-member squad will leave for Sri Lanka to play two Tests, which will start in Galle on March 7-11 and another starts on March 15 in Colombo.

There are some star players includes Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Muttiah Muralitharan will be not available against Bangladesh.

Rahim stated about his side’s bowling department for the Sri Lankan, "We have three different types of bowlers in Shakib (Al Hasan), Mustafiz (Mustafizur Rahman) and Miraj (Mehedi Hasan). When they bowl together it would create pressure on any opponent."
He is confident that his side will play good cricket in Sri Lanka as Bangladesh performing well in the Tests as well other formats of the game a long period, which would also help them during the long tour.
Rahim said, "They will remain under a little pressure because they know Bangladesh are also playing well for a long period. Considering all these factors, I would say we have a good chance."
He further added, "Everything will actually depend on how we can give our best. If we can give our best, I am sure the result will come to our favor. I think in Test, one-day international or Twenty20 international - whatever the format is - people now expect us to win.”
Bangladesh already has played 16 Tests against Sri Lanka, which is the highest for the Test minnows against any opponent.
