Kane Williamson, the New Zealand captain was seen wearing a misspelled shirt during the second T-20 match against Bangladesh at Napier.
With the help of the skipper’s brilliant 73, the New Zealand team registers their victory by 6 wickets with 12 balls remaining against Bangladesh in the first T-20 in Napier on Tuesday.
The shirt worn by Kane Williamson was missing an ‘i’ and spelled his name as Willamson. The mistake was caught by the commentators during the game.
The Kiwi skipper was pretty cool about the mistake. Kane told stuff.co.nz with a laugh, "I did [realize] yeah - I had to wear a shirt and someone spelled my name wrong. I'm not sure who did that. It's all good; it still felt the same,"
Williamson struck 73 runs in just 55 deliveries, which was the highest Twenty20 innings of the batsman, one run more than his unbeaten 72 against Pakistan a year ago.
