David Warner started this year on a high note. He followed his record breaking ton by a fifty that is the fastest ever in test by any Aussie. On the fourth day of Pink Test he also became the second fastest in the history after Misbah’s 21-ball half century against Australia in 2014.
After rain washed out first session, Australia didn’t enforce the follow on and asked their openers to bat again. David Warner came with different ideas. In the process he smashed Yasir Shah for 21 runs in an over with two sixes and two fours in a row and raced to his fifty. He beat Bruce Yardley’s record, who scored his fifty in 29 balls against West Indies in 1978.During this sparkling knock of 55 off 27 balls, he smashed 8 fours and 3 sixes with the strike rate of 203.70!
