India's flamboyant all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh has been making a lot of news these days since the announcement by BCCI that he will be making a comeback into India's ODI and T20I squads. Every Indian fan is now hoping that Yuvi will make a strong comeback and entertain them like the good old days.
Indian team was pretty uncertain about the finisher's role in the limited overs cricket which forced the Indian selectors to turn towards the trustable Punjab all-rounder, who had a phenomenal 2016-17 Ranji Trophy season as he had made as many as 672 runs in five matches.
On Monday, while talking to BCCI.TV, Yuvraj expressed his mindset when he was diagnosed with cancer. He said, "I was inspired by Lance Armstrong when I was going through cancer, and (in) coming out of it, I have inspired a lot of people to come out of their own adversity."
Yuvraj concluded by accepting that making a comeback after this long is not going to be as easy as he would like. He explained, "It's tough when you go through a period like this in your life when you don't know where your life is going to go. I think you have got to keep working hard and believe that one day you will come back and be at the place you belong. Never giving up is my attitude. Things can always change in a matter of a short time.I have had a lot of ups and downs and I have just learned to keep bouncing back from it. And hopefully, I can come back and belong where I always wanted to be."
