Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) s going to felicitate India's former skipper, M.S. Dhoni (who recently had given up his position of India's limited-overs captain), during the third and final One Day International match against England at the Eden Gardens on January 22.
As per the reports, one CAB official said, “Dhoni will be felicitated in a fitting manner and we are planning to have it done by celebrated former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar. However, we are yet to finalize the details."
India’s most successful captain, Dhoni has captained in Indian colors for the last time during a practice match between India 'A' and England. The Indian team scored 304 for 5 in their first innings with the help of an outstanding unbeaten knock of 68 in just 40 deliveries balls by Dhoni. The England team is going to play three ODIs and three T20Is in the upcoming series.
As the Eden Garden will be hosting the last match of the ODI series, the official stated that there will be some fireworks as well to celebrate Dhoni's captaincy tenure.
