MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper is the most loved and popular cricketer of India. Despite leaving the captaincy of the Indian cricket team, Dhoni still enjoys a huge fan following.
When the Indian team walked into the Eden Gardens for their practice session and net session on the eve of the third and the final ODI against England, was a huge crowd was seen flogging the stadium to cheer the team.
There were some disappointment seen in the crowds as the two of famed Indian players Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh opted to miss the practice session.
Although, the crowd was more than just delighted to see MS Dhoni at the nets and they were enjoyed Mahi's game as well. During the net session, the 17-year old Agnibesh Paul, managed to dismantle the wooden work of Dhoni.
MS Dhoni was seen having a conversation with Paul after the net session. According to a report by Xtratime.in, Dhoni congratulated the bowler, “great bowling, your line and length is perfect, keep it up”.
Agnibesh Paul, is a club cricketer and plays for Gurudas Institute in the 2nd division in the CAB league.
Later, Agnibesh expressed his excitement by saying, “I am delighted to have bowled out Dhoni, earlier I have bowled out Gautam Gambhir at KKR practice and Ajinkya Rahane during Pune Supergiants practice at the Eden Gardens.”
There were another interesting moment during the play of the day when a group of girls were chanting for Dhoni. Dhoni also accepted their chants and waved in their direction.
The girls, who were overwhelmed by the gesture of Mahi, apparently started crying out of excitement and happiness!
