Legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, wearing a yellow tee and the traditional Vashti, on Sunday, paid his visit to temple town Madurai ahead of the second season of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2017.
Hayden, who is the brand ambassador of the TNPL, visited the iconic Chandran mess in Madurai to enjoy a royal feast, which included mutton biryani, chicken fry, crab fry, crab omelette, fish fry among others.
After enjoying the royal banquet, Hayden took part in many events during the day. He participated in a few special activities on stage at the Gandhi Memorial Museum and enthralled the guests.Read More: Shah Rukh Khan move to Madurai in TNPL draft
The second edition of the T20 league kicks off on July 22 with the defending champions Tuti Patriots locking horns with Dindigul Dragons at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
