Australia’s star all-rounder, Ellyse Perry believes India will be a different team in their knockout semi-final on Thursday in Derby. Coming into the big game, India have crushed the White Ferns by 186 runs in a must-win clash last Saturday.

Indian started their World Cup campaign with a 35-run victory over the host England and subsequently won all their four games they have played in Derby. On the other hand, the Southern Stars are yet to play the County ground. Although, Australia have annihilated India in their group match in Bristol last week, but Perry feels India will be tough to beat since they are carrying plenty of momentum.

"Given that they've played well (against New Zealand) they'll come in with a bit of momentum and I expect them to be really tough," Perry said.

"They probably left a few things unattended against us the other day that we know they're really dangerous, they've got a great couple of batters and some really dangerous bowlers. They'll be good," she added.

The 26-year-old all-rounder from Sydney feels that India may be peaking at the right time, "We maybe didn't come up against them at their strongest on the day. I'm sure they'll be really keen to rectify that. It's a great test for us and we are really looking forward to it." she explained.

Perry's having a great time in the ongoing Women’s World Cup, she has notched up 5 consecutive fifties so far. As a result, she is placed third in the latest ICC player rankings for women’s. She also went to the top of the rankings for all-rounders, replacing Windies' Stafanie Taylor.
