Indian skipper Virat Kohli had to walk off the field on first day of the 3rd test after he injured his right shoulder while fielding the post-lunch. The injury forced him to leave the field for the entire post-lunch session and he did not take the field even after the tea break, with vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane doing the captain's job.

The latest updates are coming that Virat Kohli didn't take field as precaution and he will get scans done on shoulder later today. More details on this will be shared tomorrow morning.

Indian fans would be praying for their man right now. Virat’s presence is key for Indians at this moment of the match.

Virat got himself injured after he dived full length to stop the ball from boundary and landed heavily on his right shoulder.

As soon as he got up, he looked in trouble. The Indian physio Patrick Farhart rushed on to the field to Virat off the field. The ice pack was immediately applied to the right shoulder and it was on for a considerable period of time.
