Glenn Maxwell has hit a very unique record after scoring his maiden ton at Ranchi. With Steve Smith he added 191 runs for the fifth wicket as Australia dominated two sessions of the second day piling up 451 runs in the first innings.

Glenn Maxwell brought up his well deserved century on the second day of the third Test in Ranchi and by doing so, Maxwell became only the second Australian to slam a ton in all three formats of the game in international cricket. The first Australian to achieve this rare feat was former Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson.

Former Australian players wished Maxwell for his feat on twitter as he joins Shane Watson in this exclusive elite list. Maxwell, who is playing just his fourth match since making his Test debut in 2013 was making a comeback into the Australian line-up due to Mitchell Marsh's injury.

The 28-year-old is only the 13th player to have slammed tons in all three international formats.

Here are the other players to have notched up tons in all three formats while playing for their respective countries.
