Indian team got a healthy lead of 152 runs at the end of the day four as Indian skipper declared the innings for 603/9 soon after Ravindra Jadeja completed his half-century along with his famous sword celebration.
Australians were very well aware of the fact that they had a task in hands and they need the finish the day without any loss of a wicket. But Ravindra Jadeja had some other ideas as he dismissed David Warner and night watchman Nathan Lyon before the end of day’s play.
Warner smashed two fours on the bowling of Ashwin through the extra cover region in the first over. Jadeja gave him some real tough time in the middle and later Warner was cleaned through the gate by the left arm spinner and the celebrations were very wild. Even Virat didn’t stay back to express his emotions after the dismissal.
Virat’s wild celebration didn’t like by former Indian batsman VVS Laxman as he was pretty unhappy with the Indian captain. He said, “Very disappointed to see a celebration of Kohli after Warner’s wicket. He is the captain. Someone did a mistake that does not mean he has to do the same.”
Although, the over the top celebration has sought everyone’s attention but it doesn’t deflect the fact that the hosts are having an upper hand in this match with their batting as well as with their bowling.
