The voice of Indian cricket Harsha Bhogle has expressed his displeasure regarding the ongoing four-match Test series between India and Australia. He stated that this Border-Gavaskar trophy will be remembered for its toxicity rather than quality of cricket played in the series. Despite the fact that the series has been pretty entertaining one in terms of quality cricket but in terms of discipline its hasn’t been that much good. The trophy has witnessed some of the shameful incidents which don’t do justice to the spirit of the game.
The series was first afflicted by the brain-fade saga with involvement of both the captains of in it. Glenn Maxwell’s mocking of Virat Kohli’s injury and Indian skipper’s reactions after dismissing David Warner made the headlines.
Bhogle took to twitter to express his thoughts about these incidents which were mostly negative. He stated that some of his friends in Australia believe that the ongoing series is going to be remembered for all these shameful incidents that took place during the same.
Harsha wants that at the end of it cricket needs to be the ultimate winner as all these indecent happenings interrupts the smooth running of a valuable encounter. The series between the two strong teams is leveled at 1-1 with one game to go and everyone is hoping the series gets concluded on a good note.
