Indian needs only 106 runs to regain the Border-Gavaskar trophy as they have bundle Australia for 137 in the second innings after taking a lead of 32 runs in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja and Wriddhiman Saha built a brilliant 94-run partnership to help India gain a decent lead. Then came the Indian pacers because of whom half of the Australian team was back in the pavilion at the team of Day 3. As India’s pace spearhead bowled a deadly first spell of six overs and took 2 wickets in it and in his second spell he took another wicket and helped his team to bundle out Australia cheaply.
Umesh was looking a ferocious bowler in his first spell as he was moving the red cherry both ways. He also bowled deadly bouncers to the both the Australian openers David Warner and Matt Renshaw. Firstly he dismissed David Warner after he edged one to Saha as Warner was rattled by Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in the previous over. Next up was Matthew Renshaw, who was entangled his Yadav’s mixture of length.
The voice of Indian cricket Harsha Bhogle took to twitter and confessed, “When I started covering cricket I must confess I didn’t imagine I would see the last two balls @y_umesh bowled to Renshaw.”
The Indians are looking very positive as the scoreboard says India need only 87 more runs with 10 wickets in hand to win the four-match Test series and regain the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
