It won't be wrong to say, he is now establishing himself as one of the most important members of the World No.1 team. Jadeja has reached the top of Test rankings for bowlers and as a batsman too he has hit six half-centuries in the home season, before this he had only one half-century to his credit in Test cricket.
Jadeja scored 63 today, and put an important partnership with Wriddhiman Saha to help India take a 32-run lead which proved to be more than enough as Australia lost three top order wickets before they wiped off the deficit. Jadeja later took three wickets as India bundled out Australia for just 137 to setup a chase of 106 to win the series and regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
