This tour was not a memorable for Australia vice-captain David Warner, but he believes that he will take these memories with him, which will stay for a long time. He was not instrumental with the bat for his team as he failed to score runs on almost all occasions.
Though, one memory will be with him till a long period as he got to meet the Dalai Lama just before the fourth Test at Dharamshala.
Warner posted a pic with Lama after the final outcome of this series, which reads 2-1 in India’s favor. His wrote on Instagram:
Apart from it, he also shares one team pic where he wrote:
The southpaw scored 193 runs at a mere average of 24.12 throughout this series including one fifty in the first innings of Dharamshala Test. Australia went to lost this series after a poor show in Dharamshala, where they faced the worst outing so far in this series and this cost them the series as well.
Before Warner, skipper of both sides including several players marked this series as the best ever and said it was the most exciting cricket they have a part off.
