IPL 2017: Mumbai Indians reveal their dream XI picked by MI Paltan

Mumbai Indians have 2 IPL and 2 CLT20 titles to their name.

Mumbai Indians has been one of the most successful team in the IPL and CLT20. It has won both the tournaments, including IPL two times. The team is owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries and was the costliest team brought at $111.9 million.

Initially the team was led by Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh, who won the CLT20 in 2011. Now the captain of the team is Rohit Sharma, who has won two IPL titles for the franchise in 2013 and 2015, and a CLT20 title in 2013. The team is coached by Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene and mentored by Sachin Tendulkar and boasts of a top quality support staff that includes Jonty Rhodes, Shane Bond, Robin Singh and John Wright.

Recently, Mumbai Indians asked its fan base, known as ‘MI Paltan’, to choose a Mumbai Indians Dream Team, via voting on social media. This was done as the part of marketing buildup for the upcoming season of IPL 2017.
