In a heart breaking news for RCB and IPL fans, another big player from last year’s runner-up team has got injured, after Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have already withdrawn from IPL 10 due to injuries.
News reports from South Africa confirmed that new RCB captain AB de Villiers had injured his back and missed his match for Titans in the finals of the South African domestic One-Day tournament, the Momentum Cup. However suspense is still there as the extent and severity of his injury is not known and his participation in the upcoming IPL 10 now hangs in balance.

Yesterday, RCB coach Daniel Vettori confirmed that captain Virat Kohli will miss some matches for the team and that KL Rahul will miss the entire IPL due to surgery on his shoulder. Kohli had missed the 4th Test against Australia, after injuring his shoulder in the 3rd Test at Ranchi.
De Villiers was named the captain in absence of Virat Kohli and was supposed to aid Chris Gayle and players like Mandeep Singh and Sarfraz Khan in RCB’s IPL 10 journey. He was one of the highest run getters in the last season and made a century against Gujarat Lions in Bengaluru.
RCB will hope that he would gain full fitness before the opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad.
