Former Australian pacer Brett Lee, who was known for his lightning pace and sharp deliveries, is also making sure he is noticed on social media these days.
Lee demolished a news channel's Twitter handle with a brilliant reply on the social networking site. He rarely used to clock below 140 km/h bowling speed, but here on Twitter, he did well under 140 characters.
Lee responded to the news account's tweet when he saw the caption was irrelevant to the picture used with his name. While Sachin Tendulkar was playing a straight drive to Brett Lee, the caption read, "This is how @sachin_rt sent @BrettLee_58's yorker to third man #SachinTendulkar."
It is very obvious that a straight drive can't go to the third man. Also, the ball can be clearly seen going past Lee's hand on his follow through in the picture tweeted by the NDTV news account.
Brett Lee razed them with a reply just like he used to do with the stumps. "Close, but unless third man is behind the bowler, I'm playing a different game 😎 @sachin_rt," he wrote.
Lee was recently in the news after he shared a picture of a Sachin fan who has Sachin's picture inked on his chest. He uploaded the picture on Instagram and tagged Tendulkar to let him know about his die-hard fan.
